Steps to find and preserve evidence
Below are some steps to consider should you wish to find and preserve evidence:
- make an immediate search of telephone records and email, preferably using a forensic IT specialist to conduct the search - they will know how to preserve evidence in case it is needed later in a court action
- the new employer may have told senior employees to avoid putting anything in writing, but even a small piece of evidence showing that the new employer has encouraged senior employees to persuade staff to move with them could form the basis of a claim.
