Working with the emergency services
You must immediately establish whether there is a continued risk requiring notification/involvement of the emergency services.
If there is such a risk, the following questions are all key:
- which services should be notified (eg police, fire service, ambulance)?
- what assistance will they require? For example, will they need access to the site or to site plans, or assistance from the company's technical teams?
- Who in the incident management (IM) team is responsible for liaising with the emergency services?
